Showcasing Detroit as a world-class city for living and leisure, GalaxE.Solutions today released a video short, “Love, Detroit!” at the Mackinac Conference. The core message, as told through the words of a personal letter from the city to a “friend” implores the recipient to: “Come visit. It’s time”.
Displaying city images both iconic and eclectic, “Love, Detroit!”, which refers to the letter’s ending salutation, promotes the limitless lifestyle, artistic, cultural and entertainment resources that are uniquely Detroit – from Belle Isle, Campus Martius, Greektown and Mexican Town to Techno Fest, downtown sports teams and the Nain Rouge Parade.
Voiced by WDET’s Ann Delisi and produced by Detroit-based Skidmore studio, “Love Detroit!” features additional video footage provided by WDIV-TV Channel 4 and the Detroit Opera House.
“I lived in New York City through the 70s and 80s and witnessed that city’s comeback firsthand,” said Tim Bryan, Chairman and CEO of GalaxE.Solutions and creator of “Love, Detroit!” “This city is realizing that same resurgence right now. We want everyone to come to Detroit and experience it for themselves. We think that once they do, they’ll want to stay.”
Ala “Outsource to Detroit”, GalaxE’s “Love Detroit!” campaign will benefit Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit, supporting job creation, training and placement programs that support Detroit area residents as they become “Trained, Trusted and Ready to Work.”

“GalaxE has proven to Detroiters that they share Goodwill’s mission, with job growth in Detroit as a top priority,” said Lorna G. Utley, President and CEO of Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit. “We have loved Detroit for more than 90 years, creating nonprofit businesses that create jobs, and we appreciate GalaxE including us in helping to tell that story to the rest of the world.”
Added Bryan: “As we note in our video’s closing ‘p.s.,’ we are hopeful that others will also ‘share the love’, through this video, social media and their own personal invitations, to friends, family, everyone; inviting those who don’t really know Detroit to join us and be a part of something very special.”
